Meet the Writers:

  • Keith Dickson- I was born and raised in the Thumb of Michigan and always had a passion for all sports Michigan. I went to college at Northern Michigan University in Marquette, Michigan and have been here ever since. I am a die hard Lions fan. No one will ever accuse me of being a bandwagon fan when they finally win the Super Bowl! I had always kicked the idea around of starting my own Michigan sports blog and finally decided one day that it was time. I enlisted my fellow editors Dave and Mark to help me get MichiganSportsChat.com off the ground. We are having a great time with this and hope you enjoy. If there is anything you would like to see covered in more detail, don’t hesitate to let us know.
  • Dave Stevenson- I am currently serving as lead editor for MichiganSportsChat.com. Having grown up in the state of Michigan nearly all of my life and being a sports fanatic, I jumped at the opportunity to be able to write about my passion: SPORTS. I grew up a fan of the Pistons, Tigers, Lions, Red Wings, and the Michigan Wolverines. I remember with fondness watching Barry Sanders break off a long run, listening to Ernie Harwell announce a “long gone” home run by Cecil Fielder, or even watching Glen Rice cut down the nets or Charles Woodson make a key interception for the National Championship. There have been many wonderful memories in Michigan sports history for me. Having moved to Marquette, Michigan for college and staying for work, I am still a fan of the teams listed above, am now a fan of Northern Michigan, and have grown to respect and follow Michigan State. I look forward to bringing you more news, information, rumors, and discussions about the teams I love and respect!
