Big Boy Bowling Member Reaches Perfection:

While bowling in league last night, Keith Dickson of the Big Boy bowling team did as many bowlers do on a league night- work through their struggles as they try to find their groove and a line that works for them. After games of 181 and 179, Dickson found his groove in the 3rd game. With each throw to start the 3rd game, another "X" appeared on the scoreboard as his ball continually found the pocket. But having previously began a game with the first 9 strikes before losing out on his bid for perfection, Dickson thought nothing of his fast start. As Dickson got closer and closer to the 10th frame with perfection still in hand however, he tried very hard to lighten the pressure. Even after pulling a couple throws a little inside and coming high into the pocket, the pins still fell. As he reached the 10th frame with 9 strikes in hand, Keith did as every bowler does in that situation- just try to hold on and not choke. And even though his 10th and 11th throw came into the pocket high, the result was still the same- STRIKE. With nearly everyone in the league watching as Dickson reached for his ball for the final throw of the night, he tried to push all the nervousness to the side to manage one last strike. Dickson waited a couple extra seconds for the rack on the next lane to clear before setting up for his last throw. With most watching and a couple teammates videotaping the final frame on their phones, Dickson pulled his last throw worse than any other throw of the night. The ball however carried through the oil and knocked all ten pins down giving Keith Dickson his first ever 300-game. Congratulations to Keith Dickson on the feat of throwing a perfect bowling game!
