Big Boy/Fleury Singler bowling member Dave Stevenson reached another bowling high last night. While bowling for PC Medic of the Friday 800 Mixed League in Marquette, MI, Stevenson bowled a new career high game of 280 in his first game of the night. He went on to bowl 244 and 191 for a 715-series, his second 700-series of his career (the first being a 727 on Nov. 3, 2010). “I just got into a groove and found a line that was working for me. I was quite excited…just about anyone in the league could probably tell you that though, since I had to go tell just about everyone of my achievement,” Stevenson said later with a big smile. Of his second ever 700-series, Stevenson explained, “Two missed spares in that third game cost me a new series high as well. So while I’m a little upset with myself that I didn’t bowl two milestones tonight, you can’t really complain about throwing in the 700s. It is just my second time doing it.” It was quite a bowling week for Stevenson throwing series of 662, 674, and 715 this week. “I just felt very confident with my throw this week…and I can only hope my little hot streak right now keeps going!”
